The tumbleweed tree lighting is a tradition for Chandler. Since 1957 when the first tree was built, every year til today they build a 25 ft tall chicken wire frame and cover it with over 1000 tumbleweeds, white paint and lights. More that 12,000 people show up for the lighting each year.
Other activities are as follows:
SANTA: Get your picture take with Santa for FREE from 4:30pm - 6:30 and then again after 8pm til 9pm.
PARADE: The parade will start at 6:45pm on Saturday December 1st.
